Papers

• There are various of colors, weight and different FSC branded papers.

• This is a standard weight card stock that is 14-16 pt (300 gsm - 350 gsm ) than most single layer cards. This signature weight is perfect for most business applications.

• Produces nice colors even though uncoated

• Great feel in hand due to its sheer thickness and noticeable texture

• Matte cover stock is great for writing on

• Best with minimal usage of ink as the texture of the paper is visible

This is the universal Pantone Color Matching System (PMS) where all users from all over the world can refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match. This method is ideal if you have an exact color you would like to match. 2+2 indicates that the front and reverse sides are each printed with 2 colors. 3+3 indicates that the front and reverse sides are each printed with 3 colors.

Coating

• An uncoated stock allows you to experience the unique feel and texture of your desired stock. Whether you desire the softness of a cotton stock or our branded selections, your product can experience the sophistication of a beautiful, pristine card stock by ditching the coating and going straight for style.

• NOTE: Not recommended for too much solid color as you want to show more of the stock texture.

Round Corners

• A great quick way to change the look of your card is by using the process of rounding the corners to convert regular, square corners into rounded corners.

Edge Painting / Edge Gilding
Edge Painting is a technique of painting the edges of business cards to add a pop to your business cards. We offer several different standard and bright colors so you can match the color of your logo. You can also edge paint various items such as invitations, announcements, postcards, note cards, and more! You can Request A Quote if you want to add edge painting to your product!​

 

Artwork and PDF requirements for Spot Colour Business Card Printing

• We operate a PDF workflow, so please supply your Spot Pantone Colour Business Card artwork as a Press Quality PDF or AI. If you prefer, we can create a PDF for you, in which case we will email a proof to you for approval. There is an additional charge for this PDF creation service. We help match Pantone colors.

• If any print reaches the edge of your finished Spot Pantone Colour Business Card, please add 3mm bleed to all sides of your artwork.

• Please do not try to see RGB colors on your electronic devices to compare and match Pantone colors. You may speak with your designers and us.

• Supply your Pantone Colour Business Card artwork files to us in Pantone Spot Colour, not CMYK or RGB please.

• Please embed fonts or convert all of your text to shapes.
